Data controller
The organisers of Banlieue Smart Days (Initiatives 221 × MOOBETA, Dakar). Contact: banlieusmartday@gmail.com. Processing complies with Senegalese Law No. 2008-12 on the protection of personal data.
Data collected and purposes
- Attendee pass: name, phone, email (optional), pass type — to issue your pass, contact you about the event and manage check-in.
- Exhibitor stand: organisation, contact person, email, phone, stand type, team size — to organise the exhibition village.
- Smart Talents: name, email, phone, date of birth and professional profile — to publish your profile (first name, last-name initial, city and professional information only) and arrange introductions with employers. Your contact details and date of birth are never published.
- Introduction requests: employer's company, name, email, phone and message — to pass the request on to the talent.
Recipients
Your data is only accessible to the organising team. It is never sold or shared. For Smart Talents, your contact details are only given to an employer with your consent.
Retention
- Passes and stands: up to 12 months after the edition, for reporting and to invite you to the next edition.
- Smart Talents profiles: as long as the profile is active; deleted on request.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, or object to its processing, at any time by writing to banlieusmartday@gmail.com. You may also contact Senegal's personal data protection authority (CDP).
Hosting and security
Data is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) and transmitted encrypted (HTTPS).
